‘Not good for life’: Queensland river so polluted it poses threat to wildlife and public safety

Ipswich’s Bremer River is so heavily polluted and oxygen starved it is a risk to public safety, according to an independent study. The man behind the research says the waterway should be reclassified as “highly disturbed”.
