Victorian duck hunt set to go ahead, angering both animal activists and the Opposition

The Victorian Game Management Authority (GMA), the independent hunting regulator, announces the shortened season will be open from May 26 until June 14. The move angers Nationals leader Peter Walsh, who says the government is trying to “destroy hunting by stealth”.
